Interesting article research tool

The way Instant Article Wizard is presented on its website is probably not the best way to use it; in fact, you can get into a lot of trouble using it that way. But of course the sales letter needs to convert highly, so they highlight the lazy man’s approach since we all want content for our sites.

Briefly, it’s a piece of software into which you type a keyword, and it automatically does the research on that keyword for you. It pulls from various article sources, probably article directories, and just gives you “snippets” of information; complete sentences, actually from each article.

From what little I can tell, it seems to search using the keyword you input, and then pulls individual sentences from that article with the keyword in it. You can also use subtopic keywords.

Can you see how it’s dangerous if not used properly? The video presentation shows the demonstrator just piecing together these sentences into a complete article. Plagiarism, pure and simple. And there is a disclaimer about that.

But it can be used for the forces of good as well as evil. How about quick research on a topic? Since an article can be broken down into “learning points” embedded in the midst of fluff, you could print out the list of research it returns, read over it, and write your article. This can be quite useful. I may include it as a part of my article writing course, which you can find here.
